Deposits

Depositors may Deposit in FD /CC/ RD and Renewal thereof should be made in the prescribed Application form (available in office and in website) duly completed in all respects and accompanied by cash/Cheque/Demand Draft/ NEFT or RTGS etc. in the name of “THE KILPAUK BENEFIT SASWATHA NIDHI LIMITED” from the available periods 06 to 24 months at competitive rates of interest to suit the investment needs of individual Members

• Deposits will be accepted from Members in Cash if the aggregate Deposits is below Rs.20,000/- only. Otherwise in Cheque or Demand Draft.
• Interest will accrue from the date of receipt of Cash / Cheque subject to realization.
• Monthly Interest will be paid in Cash / NEFT or transfered to the Savings Account with us.
• Interest ceases from the date of maturity of the deposit unless renewed on the due date or within 30 days.

• Income Tax, wherever applicable will be deducted at Source (TDS) as per Income Tax Act 1961, however TDS will not be deducted if declaration in Form 15G / 15H submitted to the Nidhi at the beginning of each Financial Year.
• Repayment of Deposits will be made on the due date and Deposits of Rs.20,000/- and above will be repaid only by Cheque / NEFT or RTGS
• Deposits shall not be repaid within a period of 3 months from the date of acceptance, but can be foreclosed after 3 months with no interest and after 6 months at the reduced rate.
